There are exactly two ways a parent or guardian gets connected to a class:
- You invite them (school-initiated). Staff add a parent’s email to a student. Inscriti emails an invitation; the moment they sign in with that email they’re linked to their child automatically — no codes, no approval step.
- They use a class code (family-initiated). Staff share a short code (or QR) for a class; a parent enters it and connects themselves, either enrolling their child or following the class.
Use email invites for your core roster, and class codes for everyone else.
