Home Feed & Posts

View, create, and manage school posts.

Tap the Home tab. You’ll see posts in order, with the newest at the top. Pull down on the feed to refresh.

Tap anywhere on the post card. The full post opens with the complete message, all photos, all attachments, and all comments.

  1. Tap a photo in the post.
  2. The photo opens full screen. Swipe left and right to see more photos.
  3. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in.
  4. Tap the X to close.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the post.
  2. Tap the document name or icon.
  3. The file opens in a viewer.
  4. Tap the download icon to save it to your device.

Tap the heart icon under the post. The heart fills in and the like count goes up. Tap again to unlike.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Scroll to the Comments section.
  3. Tap the comment box and type your reply.
  4. Tap the send button (paper plane).

  1. Open the post.
  2. Find your comment.
  3. Tap the pencil icon next to it.
  4. Edit the text.
  5. Tap Save.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Find your comment.
  3. Tap the trash icon next to it.
  4. Confirm.

  1. Tap the Home tab.
  2. Tap the search bar at the top.
  3. Type a name, keyword, or class name.
  4. The feed shows matching posts.

If you have access to more than one class (or more than one child):

  1. Open the Home tab.
  2. Tap one of the filter chips at the top (the class or child name).
  3. Only posts for that class or child will show.
  4. Tap Clear Filters to see everything again.

  1. Tap the Home tab.
  2. Tap the + button (or post composer icon).
  3. Type a title (optional).
  4. Type your message.
  5. (Optional) Attach Photos, Videos, or Files.
  6. Choose an audience — Whole School, Class, or Student.
  7. Tap Post.

  1. While writing the post, tap the image icon (or Photos).
  2. Choose photos from your device.
  3. They appear as thumbnails in the post.
  4. Tap X on any thumbnail to remove it before posting.

  1. While writing the post, tap the video icon (or Videos).
  2. Choose a video from your device or record a new one.
  3. Wait for it to finish uploading before tapping Post.

  1. While writing the post, tap the paperclip icon (or Files).
  2. Choose a PDF, Word doc, or Excel file from your device.
  3. The file shows in the post.

Open the Audience panel and pick one:

  • Whole School — everyone at the school can see it. (Admins only.)
  • Class — choose one or more classes. Only those students (and their parents) see it.
  • Student — choose a specific student. Only that student and their parents see it.

  1. Choose Class as the audience.
  2. Tap each class you want to include — they’ll show as selected chips.
  3. To remove a class, tap the X on its chip.
  4. Finish writing your post and tap Post.

The post will publish automatically at that time. You can find scheduled posts in the Saved panel.

  1. Write your post as normal.
  2. Open the Schedule panel.
  3. Turn on Schedule this post.
  4. Pick a date and time in the future.
  5. Tap Schedule Post.

  1. Write your post.
  2. Tap Save as Draft (or the bookmark icon).
  3. The draft is saved. Come back to it from the Saved panel.

  1. Open the post composer.
  2. Open the Saved panel.
  3. Switch between Drafts and Scheduled.
  4. Tap an item to Edit, Post Now, or Delete it.

The post will show “(edited)” next to the timestamp.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Tap the pencil icon at the top.
  3. Change the text, add or remove attachments.
  4. Tap Save Changes.

Once deleted, it’s gone for everyone.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Tap the trash icon.
  3. Confirm.

A school admin will review it.

  1. Open the post (or find the comment).
  2. Tap the flag icon.
  3. Choose a reason: Privacy/safety, harassment, inappropriate content, spam, or other.
  4. (Optional) Add more details.
  5. Tap Report.

  1. Open the post.
  2. Tap the photo to open it full screen.
  3. Tap the download icon.
